The Posts feature in Center AI is a powerful tool that allows you to simultaneously publish posts, offers, and events across multiple business listings on Google Maps. This saves time while boosting your business’s visibility. With posts, you can inform customers about new promotions, offers, products, or events, effectively increasing their interest in your services.
To add a post, click the “Add Post” button in the screen's upper-right corner and proceed to create your content. You can choose which listings the post should be published to—all locations or selected ones, such as specific cities or groups. This gives you full control over where and when your offers or promotions are visible.
The Posts feature also allows you to repurpose content you’ve already shared on platforms like Facebook or Instagram. You can easily adapt existing materials, saving time and streamlining the content creation process. The added post will appear under the administrative information section of your business listings.
1. Types of Posts Google Allows:
Posts: They include an image, text, and a call-to-action (CTA) button. This post type is ideal for sharing educational content, announcing new collections, or inviting customers to join a loyalty program.
Offers: These require a validity period, after which they are automatically marked as expired. For offers, the CTA button appears when a link is added.
Events: As the name suggests, these are useful for informing customers about upcoming events at your locations. Like offers, events have an end date and will remain visible in the archive after expiration.
2. Impact of Posts on SEO
Regularly adding posts significantly impacts the visibility of your listings in Google Maps. Google algorithms analyze post content and take note of keywords, so it’s important to include SEO-relevant phrases in each post. Well-optimized content can help improve your listing’s ranking in search results.
Even expired posts remain visible and contribute to SEO if they don’t contain outdated or misleading information. Leaving them active can increase the amount of content supporting your SEO strategy. Consistent use of this feature enhances your online presence and attracts more customers to your locations.
3. Content and Image Optimization
Post content can be up to 1,500 characters, but remember that the first 120 characters are the most visible to users, especially on mobile devices. Therefore, key information should be placed at the beginning to grab customers’ attention.
We recommend a 4:3 aspect ratio for images. The minimum recommended size is 400x300 pixels, and the maximum is 8000x6000 pixels.
4. Scheduling Posts
To schedule a post for a specific date and time in Center AI, simply select a publication time other than “Now” when creating the post. Choose the desired date and time, and the post will be published automatically at the specified moment.
Scheduling posts provides full control over your marketing campaigns. You can prepare posts about promotions, events, or seasonal offers in advance, ensuring consistent communication. Automating publication also increases efficiency and saves time.
