The Competitor Comparison feature in Center AI allows you to analyze the rankings of your business listings on Google Maps compared to local competitors. This feature helps you track your locations' performance regarding visibility on Google Maps relative to other local businesses.
1. How Does the Competitor Comparison Feature Work?
If you haven’t yet added keywords or competitors, go to the relevant settings to update this data:
Keywords: Settings → Monitored Keywords
Competitor Listings: Settings → Competitor Listings
After adding this information, select available competitors. You’ll see results represented by color-coded markers on listings. These markers indicate which listing ranks highest in search results for a specific location and selected keywords. For example, when a user searches for "swimsuits" in a given area, the color assigned to each business shows who holds the top position. Your listing is marked in orange.
2. Competitor Listing Position Chart
Below the map, you’ll find a chart showing the rankings of selected listings in local search results. Here, you can closely examine the position of your listing compared to competitors. Hover over a specific point on the chart to see the exact ranking of your listing and those of your competitors.
This feature provides valuable insights into local SEO and enables detailed monitoring of changes, making it easier to manage your business’s visibility on Google Maps.
